Health

A player’s Health is measured as a percentage, with 100% being fully healthy. When a player picks up an injury their Health will get reduced. When injured the player will automatically be put into an injury treatment room and will start to recover their Health naturally. This Health recovery can be accelerated by playing Health cards into the Treatment room the player is in. When a player’s Health falls below 40% then you cannot pick the player in a match day squad. See Health & Injuries for more information.

If a player's Health percentage drops then their skills and attributes will drop by the same percentage. This is not shown on their player info screen, which shows their skills and attribute levels as if they had 100% health.

Form

A player’s form can go up and down as the season progresses. Form is checked after certain periods of time, based upon the player's current form level. When checked the form can change to another form level.

When form changes it will stay at the new level for a random number of days, based upon the new form level. Once that time is up form will reset to a new level:

Form Level Reset Time
Form Level Day to Reset
1 or 5 3 to 7 days
2 or 4 5 to 10 days
3 5 to 21 days

Psychology Form Cards: If you play a psychology card that boosts a player's form, then there is a minimum of 7 days before a reset can occur.

Form has a rating from one (the worst) to five (the best), with three being the average. If a player has a form above three then their skills and attributes will be boosted, with form 5 providing a larger boost than form 4. Conversely if form is below three, then their skills and attributes will be reduced with form 1 reducing them by more than form 2.

Form only adjusts player skills and attributes in the match engine. The effects of form do not show up on the player info screen. Form acts as a % boost or reduction to the skills and attributes of the player (with form level 3 being the average, which supplies no boost or reduction). This means that form will have a bigger impact the higher a player's skills and attributes are.

So, form can have a sizeable impact on a player's skills and attributes in a match, so should be a factor you consider when selecting your team.

Form can be raised by playing a Form Psychology cards. Playing a Form card resets the clock for the next form check.

Match Experience

Match experience is gained both through playing competitive matches and ladder matches. Experience will enable a player to perform slightly better when playing. It will take a lot of matches for a player to gain the full impact of experience, as the growth of experience is slow. The actual impact of experience is hard to judge for a  manager, so the actual formula of the system is buried in the match engine itself and you will not see its impact on player info screens and such like. At the moment the only way of judging the potential experience of a player is to look at how many competitive matches they have played, found under their stats tab.

The difference between match experience and composure is that match experience applies to all areas of the match engine, whereas composure is only triggered in certain situations and with certain actions.
